Dealing with an introvert partner

An introvert is not a shy and sad person. He is someone who loves to get secluded and spend some time alone
Dealing with an introvert partner
When he goes to a party, he doesn't sit in complete silence. For, he is certainly not a party pooper. Contrary to the perceived notion, an introvert is not someone who is timid and boring. He is not even someone who is a loner, unfriendly and lacks social skills.
In fact, an introvert can have a good sense of humour, be a creative thinker and be the heart of a party.
1x1 polls
Although an introvert would love to spend some ‘me’ time as they draw strength from their inner selves, it doesn’t mean that s/he does not care for company.
Dealing with an introvert partner can get a little difficult. You probably could feel frustrated as your partner does not share his innermost feelings most of the time. He might choose to become aloof and stay like that for hours together. Don’t be offended by these things. All you need to do is give him/her some space. Keep yourself busy with some other work and divert your attention. When your partner is back from the ‘trance’, you could talk.
Introverts do not open up easily with people they do not know very well. But since you are his/her better half, s/he probably will, but at their own pace and time. And what the hell, if your partner is an introvert, he only does not talk much, but he is a good listener. So why not tell your tale and make let him/her listen to you.
If you are an extrovert and your partner is completely opposite, remember do not impose your thoughts and ideas on him. Just like how you love to be this outgoing person, your sweetheart loves to be in solitude. Do not judge him/her and try to change him/her.
The key to such relationships depends a lot, (again, a lot) on understanding.
